Controlling mold spores, odor, VOC’s, Mycotoxins and other bio-contaminates is a challenge for remediation projects that can require specialized equipment. For this purpose, Sani Effect has developed the Sani Plasma – Active Air & Surface Sanitizing – Purifying Equipment

The Sani Plasma is designed to control and eliminate biological contaminants, mold spores, odors, VOC’s   & mycotoxins as well being able to support purified air and sanitized surface levels during the remediation process.

Why is it important to distinguish between killing mold and destroying it at a molecular level?

The Difference Between Killing Mold and Destroying Mold & Mycotoxins

Products that kill mold spores still leave the dead spore or spore fragments in your indoor environment.  Proteins on the surface of a dead mold spore are just as allergenic as a protein on a live spore. Even fragments of spores or other components of a fungal colony can cause serious health issues.

Molds can produce a byproduct as it grows and matures called a mycotoxin. Mycotoxins are highly toxic, secondary metabolites produced by some molds. Mycotoxins are invisible, tasteless, chemically stable and resistant to temperature changes. Many mold-sick people have health issues not only due to mold but the mycotoxins they produce.

Mycotoxin exposure from indoor mold growth can affect the Nervous system, Vascular system, Respiratory system, Digestive system, Cutaneous system, Urinary system, Reproductive system, and Immune system.

Mold remediations often fail to address the mycotoxin issue since often the only thing addressing the air in a mold contaminated building are air scrubbers using HEPA filtration.  HEPA filtration is only required to remove 99.97% of particles of .3 microns or larger which isn’t adequate to address the mycotoxins which can be 0.1 microns in size.

The Sani Plasma Seek & Destroy Technology uses Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO) process that produces a 0.02 ppm hydrogen peroxide from oxygen and water vapor in the air (Eco Friendly) Invisible Plasma that destroy mold, mildew, viruses, bacteria, VOC’s, formaldehyde, mycotoxins as well as other contaminates by breaking down the molecular structure of the harmful molecule.

The potential for cross-contamination can be eliminated or significantly reduced. This approach can virtually guarantee that active mold growth in those hard-to-reach areas hidden from the naked eye is eliminated.

Our Process

The stabilized 0.02 ppm of hydrogen peroxide Plasma produced by the Sani Plasma Technology are projected in the air and are now on a seek and destroy mission decontaminating all levels of the building, including air conditioning & heating duct system decontamination / sanitization including all interior surfaces and airborne biotoxins.

Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO) is a very powerful air purification technology and has the ability to de­stroy particles as small as 0.001 microns (nanometer) whereas HEPA filters can only filter particles as small as 0.3 microns.

The lifespan of generated hydrogen peroxide gas is about 15 minutes, after which the unused hydrogen peroxide vapor converts back to H2O and CO2 leaving air & surface sanitized and fresh smelling. Sani Plasma equipment leaves behind zero chemical contaminants.

PCO technology has been around for over 40 years, and been used by NASA, the Military, and many other industries to clean the air. Photocatalytic Oxidation technology has been approved by the FDA to be safe.

Is Sani Plasma Technology Safe?

Yes, 0.02 ppm of hydrogen peroxide plasma is just one fiftieth of the amount that OSHA tells us is safe throughout a standard workday. The hydrogen peroxide plasma concentration is also self-regulating.  If hydrogen peroxide plasma increases above 0.02 ppm, it starts reacting with itself until the concentration drops back down to 0.02 ppm.

When hydrogen peroxide plasma reacts with itself, it breaks down into non-toxic oxygen and water vapor.

Sani effect is a very good and professional company , I dealt with them in the past on two commercial properties for mold removal , they did a good job but of course the buildings were empty ,  currently the company is doing a big job at my residence , water leak and Mold removal and I must say that I am more then impressed with how professional they are , I had to move out of my house for the mold removal and left all my belongings at home not knowing it is a big Job .
Sani effect handled my furniture and personal belongings with so much care that I was impressed, they covered my furniture with plastic and sealed it , anything needed moving they moved it with care , they sealed my cabinets , pantry , and clothings in a very professional way ,  they took care of my belongings like if they belong to them ,
